CONCLUSIONS: Our data summarizes the dysregulation of serum metabolism and exosomal miRNA excretion that occurs in Ab-VAP patients. The correlation found between BALF exosomal miRNA and dysregulated metabolism, as indicated by the irregular expression of metabolites in the cellular metabolic pathway, highlights potential biomarkers for the diagnosis and treatment of Ab infection.

In vivo activity of WCK 4282 (high-dose cefepime/tazobactam) against serine beta-lactamase-producing Enterobacterales and Pseudomonas aeruginosa in the neutropenic murine thigh infection model

CONCLUSIONS: Human-simulated exposures of WCK 4282 produced in vivo efficacy against ESBL/cephalosporinase-producing, piperacillin/tazobactam- and ceftolozane/tazobactam-non-susceptible Enterobacterales and P. aeruginosa.
