CONCLUSIONS AND CLINICAL RELEVANCE: In this nonviable perfused wound model, growth of MRSA and P aeruginosa was most effectively reduced or inhibited by cadexomer iodine dressings. These results and the effect of the dressings on wound healing should be confirmed with in vivo studies.

CONCLUSION: Aspergillus niger and A. flavus complexes were identified as the most common agents accounting for 85.7% of the isolates. In addition, terbinafine was identified as the best antifungal for both Aspergillus and Candida species. CONCLUSIONS: RR-TB was detected in all routine specimens but only 75% had documented MDR-TB, illustrating the need for expanded DST beyond Xpert MTB/RIF to target preventive therapy for HHC.
CONCLUSION: Higher multi-drug resistance (MDR) rates were observed in KP isolates to second-choice antimicrobials than to others, among which MDR rates to carbapenems or AK are the highest. A unique pattern of MIC and time distributions of MDR were observed. Clinical factors including gender were correlated with MDR rates of KP.
